18 weeks

Happy Cami!

We drove down to Bloomington on Sunday for Christmas with the Hammond's and Cameron fell asleep holding on to her new toy.

Everything goes into her mouth lately!

Cousin Anna and Aunt Molly paid a visit to Brad and Cameron on Friday.

Cameron was with Grandma Connie on Wednesday.

On Saturday morning we had a gathering at Oma Janice's with all the ladies of the family.

On Monday, Cameron and I went to the mall with Oma. We ate dinner and Cameron took her first ride on the merry-go-round. She just looked around in amazement the entire time.

Cameron likes watching Sesame Street and Barney some mornings. She gets excited when they sing songs. She kicks her arms and legs and squeals.

17 weeks

Morning bedhead! Cami is always sooo happy in the morning (and all day for that matter!) I sent this to mom on Saturday morning with a text that said "Take me to Tuscola" and mom was over within the hour ready to go. We went to downtown Tuscola to Winterberry (our newest favorite store) and then to the candy kitchen for lunch. We even went to the Gordyville Flea Market after that and Cami was such a good girl the entire day. She really enjoys being on the go!

This is one of the first shirts that Grandma Connie and Grandpa Dale got Cami. It fits her perfectly just in time for the holidays :)

Cami and I went over to Grandma Connie's on Sunday to do some holiday baking. For the past few years, Connie and I have been making gingerbread and sugar cookies together for Christmas. This year Cami got to join in the tradition. She didn't get to participate much this year but we're thinking that next year she'll be big enough to help (and create a huge mess while she's at it :)

Cami continues to really enjoy sucking on her hands. She has also been "talking" more and more lately. She has been trying new sounds but her favorite sound is still "ah-goo."

The week before Christmas break is one of the busiest of the year for me at school, but also one of the most fun. Mom came over on Tuesday night to help me get a couple things ready for my classroom's Christmas party. Cami enjoyed visiting with her Oma Joni while I cleaned up the kitchen.

Cami's Christmas nickname is "Cami-Cane" (compliments of her daddy).

Cami can stand leaning against the coffee table for awhile without help.

16 weeks

Cami got a new hat and mittens on Saturday and she looks sooo cute in them.

The cousins got their Christmas pictures taken together on Black Friday. We couldn't believe how well behaved they were! We will have to go together for pictures more often!



Cam likes to roll around on her blanket every night. Now that we have the Christmas tree up she really enjoys looking at the lights.



Oma Joni, Axl, Cami, and I took a long walk before the weather turned too cold. Cami lasted quite awhile before starting to fuss. I was happy to carry her for the rest of the way home:)

15 weeks

We enjoyed Thanksgiving with Brad's family on Thursday. Cam spent most of her time on the floor showing off her new trick: rolling over! She was all decked out in turkey attire for the occasion.

On Sunday, we had Thanksgiving at Oma Janice's house. It was our first holiday with all the new babies! Things are definitely different with them around. We painted ornaments and Cameron took another long nap in her Great-Oma's arms (one of her favorite spots).
