Cameron took her first steps on Wednesday. She walked about three steps from the couch to the door of her little house. She's been trying to practice but so far she's just doing a couple steps on her own every once and awhile. She and Axl have also been playing together a lot more. They play tug of war with their stuffed animals. This week we've been very busy with bible school. Cameron's been down in the nursery playing with Oma Janice and Emmet while I have to be in charge. After this week, we have our whole summer to enjoy together. She loves to get into cabinets and drawers and pull everything out! Her favorite word for the past few days is "baby." She loves her baby dolls and she says "baby" whenever she sees one. The other day, she got to visit Dr. Shepherd, the doctor who delivered her. She also loves to crawl into small spaces lately...

42 weeks

Cami got her big girl seat! Daddy says it looks like a recliner...

Cameron and I went to Colton's birthday party on Sunday. Unfortunately, my camera died after only a couple pictures. The kids were moving to fast to get a good shot, anyway!

Cameron's been trying some new finger foods. In this picture, she is trying blueberries. She is more interested in playing with them and smashing them than actually eating them. She's also been practicing drinking out of a straw.

Cam is building her vocabulary. She says, "Dad," "Mama," "ball," "bye-bye," and "Bob" for Axl ;).
